SUPPLY, NC—Mr. Samuel David Bernard, Jr., 77, of 1060 Cedar Grove Road, Supply, NC, died Saturday, July 10, at his residence. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1229 Cedar Grove Road, Supply, NC, by Rev. Carl Reaves. Burial will be in the Riley Hewett Cemetery. Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Thursday from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon. Viewing will be at the church Friday one hour prior to the service and again following the service. Surviving are his wife, Uzena Bernard; daughter, Sharon Jametrice Bernard of Wilmington, NC; sons, Ricky Carl Bernard and Samuel Lamont Bernard of Supply, NC, and Richard Devonne Bernard of Winnabow, NC; sisters, Clydell Durhame, Carlene Reaves, Sheral Johnson, and Yvonne Fullwood of Supply, NC.
