STAFFORD, VA—Ms. Verenia Lacey, 68, formerly of Bladenboro, NC, died Monday, July 19, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at First Baptist Church, 521 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Bladenboro, NC. Burial will be in the Shaw-Lacy Cemetery in Bladenboro, NC. Viewing will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service, and there will be no viewing after the service. Surviving are daughters, Angela Lacey and Gloria Garvin of Virginia; son, Frank Lacey of Virginia; sisters, Forest Crews of Whiteville and Algie Boykins of Virginia; brothers, Percy Wright and Bennie Wright of Virginia.
