COUNCIL, NC—Mr. Leslie Ronald “Big T” Terry, 55, of 224 Columbus County Road, Council, NC, died Wednesday, July 21, at his residence. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Shady Grove AME Zion Church, 1060 Microwave Tower Road, Council, NC. Burial will be in the New Hope Community Cemetery. Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Tuesday from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon. Viewing will be at the church Wednesday one hour prior to the service and again following the service. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Terry; sons, Brian Howard of Durham, NC, Deron Terry and Marcus Terry of Council, NC; father, Lutheran Terry of Council, NC; sisters, Diane Highsmith of Connecticut, Velma Marcella Chancy and Nancy Hatcher of Council, NC; brothers, John Terry of Connecticut, Kevin Terry of Charlotte, NC, Gregory Terry and Stanley Terry of Council, NC, and Michael Terry of Greensboro, NC.
