LONG ISLAND, NY--Riley Lee Clarida, 100, formerly of Nakina, died Thursday, September 7, in New York.
He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army.
The funeral will be 3:00 PM Sunday, September 17, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville. Burial will be in the New Zion Plain Cemetery in Nakina.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Sunday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his sons, Riley Clarida, Jr. of Staten Island, NY and Bernard Clarida of Long Island, NY; daughter, Maebell Burke of Far Rockaway, NY; and brother, Percy Clarida of Ash.

It was such a joy and great inspiration Spending quality time with Uncle Riley. Enjoyed his conversations and experiences that he so gracefully shared with us about his life from childhood through adult life. He will truly be missed.
