Celebrating the life of Charlie Wigfall, Jr.
Thank you for signing Charlie Wigfall, Jr.'s Guestbook
We will never know how many young lives Charlie saved as Director of Safety for our large school bus company in the suburbs of New York City. He worked there for a number of years after leaving the NYPD. He was a mentor to me, and I learned a great deal about evaluating drivers and teaching school bus safety from him.
Finally, there isn't anyone anywhere who had better observational skills than Charlie Wigfall. He missed nothing! He could be leaning against a wall, looking in the opposite direction, and you'd swear he was dozing off, but sure enough hours later you'd find out he'd seen it all. I am sorry to hear of his passing, and wish to let his family know he made a big difference up here in Rockland County.
