Booker Walker Obituary

WHITEVILLE—Booker T. Walker, 68, of 749 West Burkhead Street, Whiteville, died Friday, June 1, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

He was the son of the late Oswald Walker and Villa Walker Stanley of Hallsboro and a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 6, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Minister Chris McKoy. Cremation will follow.

Viewing will be at the funeral home Wednesday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.

Surviving is his wife, Linda George Walker.
