WHITEVILLE—Charles Harrington Brown, 70, of 1286 Red Store Road, Whiteville, died Monday, October 8, at Bladen County Hospital.
He was the son of the late Parker Brown and Mildred George Brown and a veteran of the U. S. Army.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Saturday, October 13, at Living Word Church, 6374 Chadbourn Highway, Chadbourn, by Rev. Ron Fields. Burial, with military honors, will be in the McDougald Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 12:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Monica Shipman Brown; daughters, Vardreane Shipman-Carlisle of Mitchellville, MD, Remonia Evatt Brown-Wade of Greenville, and Melissa Myers of Catonsville, MD; sons, Keith Frink of North Beach, MD, Charles Harrington Brown, Jr. of Wendell, and Quante Brown of Prince Frederick, MD; sister, Linda Grant of Clarkton; and brothers, Emmett Brown of Lumberton and Jackie Brown of Rocky Mount.
Friends may visit the family at 15895 Twisted Hickory Road, Bladenboro.
