Charles Burney Obituary

COUNCIL—Charles Lenwood Burney, 85, of 119 Columbus County Road, Council, died Wednesday, September 26, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

A memorial service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, September 29, at Shady Grove AME Zion Church, 1060 Microwave Tower Road, Council, by Rev. John Harrison, Jr.

Surviving are his son, Charles Nevins Burney of Bronx, NY; and daughter, Felicia Burney of New York, NY.
