Clara Campbell Obituary
CLARKTON—Clara Irene Jacobs Campbell, 83, of 2312 Carver Moore Road, Clarkton, died Friday, November 16, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
She was the daughter of the late Archie Jacobs and Lessie Mae Blanks Jacobs.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 21, at New Beginnings Holiness Church, 1369 Vause Road, Clarkton, by Rev. Harrison J. Branch, Eulogist; and Rev. Johnas M. Freeman, Officiant. Burial will be in the Mitchell Field Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Tuesday from 1:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are her husband, James Wesley Campbell; daughters, Carolyn Steele of Paterson, NJ, Lauretta C. Freeman and Gloria C. Moore of Whiteville, and Aletha C. Young of Riegelwood; sons, James Vincent Campbell of Apex and Stanley Craig Campbell of Clarkton; sister, Cecelia Cunningham of Greensboro; brother, Willie “Pap” Jacobs of Lake Waccamaw; 11 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
