BLADENBORO—Claudie Ellis, 83, of 131 Rosetta Ellis Drive, Bladenboro, died Friday, August 3, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of the late Lewis Ellis and Rosetta Lennon Ellis.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, August 10, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Bishop Ronald Johnson. Burial will be in the Ellis Memorial Gardens.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the headquarters Friday following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Iwilla Kelly Ellis; daughters, Brenda Nicholson, Gwendolyn Lawrence, and Angela Moore of New Jersey, and Jennifer Ellis-Jackson of Texas; sons, Claudie Alfonza Ellis of Whiteville and Michael Ellis of New Jersey; stepdaughter, Willadeen Betts of Whiteville; and stepson, Ervan L. Betts of Whiteville.
