WHITEVILLE—Daniel Marvin Pierce, 83, of 423 Baldwin Circle, Whiteville, died Wednesday, November 20, at his home.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Monday, November 25, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Rev. Algernon McKenzie, pastor of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and at the headquarters Monday one hour prior to the service, at which time the family will receive friends. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are his sons, Charles Daniel Pierce and Maurice Duane Pierce of Nashville, TN.
