Dollie Mae (Jones) Johnson

WHITEVILLE—Dollie Mae Jones Johnson, 81, of 1935 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, died Wednesday, November 6, at Brunswick Cove Living Center in Winnabow.

The funeral will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, November 12, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Anthony Q. Jones of Hickory Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the Welches Creek Cemetery.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Monday from 1:00 to 7:00 PM and at the headquarters Tuesday one hour prior to and following the service.  Eastern Star rites will be 6:00 PM Monday at the funeral home chapel.

Surviving are her husband, Delton Johnson; son, Anthony Q. (Carolyn) Jones of Whiteville; sisters, Odessa Long of Jefferson, Lillie (Derry) Singletary of Bladenboro, Tillie Peterkin of Whiteville, and Elizabeth (Fred) Blanks of Wilson; brothers, Elmore Jones and George (Irene) Jones of Clarkton, and Herman (Anita) Jones of Whiteville.
