Dorothy Bellamy Obituary
McDONOUGH, GA--Dorothy Aliceteen Johnson Bellamy, 70, formerly of Whiteville, died Friday, August 24, at her home in McDonough, GA.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 1, at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1980 Millpond Road, Whiteville, by Reverends Glenn Davis and John Thatch. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at which time the family will receive friends. Viewing will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are her son, Whitney Brooks of the home; daughters, Saundra Bellamy-McKinney of Durham, Katrina Bellamy of Charlotte, and Kimberly R. Bellamy of Siler City; sister, Ida Benjamin-Payton of New Jersey; brother, Nathaniel Benjamin, Jr. of Washington, DC; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
