Edna Burney Obituary
SHALLOTTE—Edna Stanley Burney, 73, of 5871 Washington Road SW, Shallotte, died Friday, February 22, at her residence.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 2, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 7370 Mount Zion Church Road, Longwood, by Dr. Covia Stanley. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph W. Burney; daughters, Gloria Burney and Tammy Burney of Supply and Sonya Burney of Charlotte; sons, Joseph Burney of Wilmington and Reggie Burney of Conway, SC; and brothers, Edward Walker of Georgia, Wendell Walker of Arizona, and Ernest Walker of Beaufort, SC.
