ERWIN—Elaine McKenzie Fane, 58, formerly of Whiteville, died Saturday, November 10, at her home in Erwin.
She was the daughter of Starlin McKenzie and Rutherlene Faison McKenzie of Whiteville.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 17, at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1980 Millpond Road, Whiteville, by Dr. Timothy A. Lance, eulogist. Burial will be in the Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Hayes Fane; daughter, Thomasina Fane of the home; sons, Brandon McKenzie of Charlotte, Tyrone McKenzie of Fayetteville, Hayes Fane, Jr. of Dunn, and Martin Fane of Texas; sisters, Phyllis Cromartie of Nakina, Rosemary Bowser of Charlotte, Thomasina McKenzie and April Abraham of Fayetteville; brothers, Starlin McKenzie, Jr. of Elizabethtown, John Ardell McKenzie of Raleigh, Donnell McKenzie of Charlotte, and Chester McKenzie of Whiteville.
Friends may visit the family at the home of Starlin and Rutherlene McKenzie.
