GREENSBORO—Garry Nathaniel Pierce, 56, formerly of Whiteville, died Sunday, September 8, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Saturday, September 14, at Word of Life Tabernacle, 1801 Deep River Road, High Point, by Rev. Ronald L. Diggs. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Guilford Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Surviving are his wife, Nina B. Pierce; sons, Daniel Nathaniel Pierce and David Andrew Pierce of the home; father, Daniel Marvin Pierce of Whiteville; mother, Elsie Doss of Nashville, TN; brothers, Charles Pierce and Duane Pierce of Nashville, TN; and sister, Tara Huey of Nashville, TN.
