WHITEVILLE—George Ray Edwards, 91, of 3387 Hallsboro Road North, Whiteville, died Tuesday, January 22, at his residence
He was a retired U. S. Navy veteran..
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, January 26, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and Saturday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving is his wife, Annie M. Edwards.
