HILLSIDE, NJ—George Western Gause, 76, formerly of Sunset Beach, died Saturday, June 8, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 16, at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, 690 Seaside Road SW, Sunset Beach, by Rev. Nathan Vereen, pastor, and Rev. Dr. J. R. Matthews, eulogist. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Saturday from 12:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Sunday following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Slade Gause; sons, Anthony Gause of Supply and George Gause, Jr. of Orange Park, FL; daughters, Lisa Purvis of Scotch Plains, NJ and Sharon Graves of Newark, NJ; sisters, Ernestine Dickie of Wilmington, Nancy Ray of Passaic, NJ, and Patricia Washington of Philadelphia, PA; and brothers, George Whitmore of Wilmington and Elbert Gause of Passaic, NJ.
Friends may visit the family at 8190 Ocean Highway West, Sunset Beach.
