RIEGELWOOD—Hubert Jesse Shaw, 81, of 3461 General Howe Highway, Riegelwood, died Tuesday, January 29, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Monday, February 4, at Mount Pleasant AME Zion Church, 15956 Old Lake Road, Riegelwood, by Bishop Staccato Powell and Presiding Elder Florence Brown. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant AME Zion Church Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Monday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are his wife, Jollye Register Shaw; daughters, Melanie Shaw of Raleigh and Connie Shaw of the home; and brother, Gregory Shaw of Riegelwood.
