James Campbell Obituary
CLARKTON—James Wesley Campbell, 84, of 2312 Carver Moore Road, Clarkton, died Sunday, March 24, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, at Rehobeth AME Zion Church, 475 Rehobeth Church Road, Clarkton, by Rev. Harrison Branch. Burial will be in the Mitchell Field Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are his daughters, Carolyn Steele of Paterson, NJ, Lauretta Freeman and Gloria C. Moore of Whiteville, and Aletha Young of Riegelwood; sons, James Vincent Campbell of Apex and Stanley Craig Campbell of Clarkton; sisters, Edna Campbell of Whiteville, Notre Dame Spaulding of Lake Waccamaw, and Irene C. Smith of Clarkton; and brother, Israel Campbell of Lake Waccamaw.
