John Bryant Obituary
HALLSBORO—John Clifton Bryant, 70, of 610 Jockey Road, Hallsboro, died Monday, June 11, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 16, at Mount Hebron AME Zion Church, 570 Red Bug Road, Hallsboro, by Rev. Donald Mapson. Burial, with Masonic Rites, will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 1:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are his wife, Glenda B. Bryant; sons, Lamont C. Bryant of the home and Joshua C. Bryant of Raleigh; mother, Marion B. Bryant of Hallsboro; sisters, Marion Mitchell of Goldsboro, Ethel Bryant, Deloris Bryant, and Stacce Bryant of Hallsboro; and brother, Carl Bryant, Jr. of Hallsboro.
