TABOR CITY—Joseph Clifford Brown, 72, a resident of Tabor Commons Assisted Living and formerly of Abbottsburg, died Monday, September 30, at Tabor Commons.
He was the son of the late Furney George Brown and Ethel Wright Brown and was a U.S. Army veteran.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Thursday, October 3, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 13395 Twisted Hickory Road, Bladenboro. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Pone Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Wednesday from 12:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Thursday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving is a sister, Susie Freeman of Hallsboro.
