Joseph Mullins Obituary

CHADBOURN—Joseph Nathaniel Mullins, 60, of 44 Maple Lane, Chadbourn, died Monday, September 9, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.

He was a veteran of the US Navy.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday, September 13, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Cornelius Johnson of New Beginnings Restoration Church, Whiteville.  Burial, with military honors, will be in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Fort Bragg.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the headquarters Friday one hour prior to the service.  There will be no viewing after the service.

Surviving are his wife, Yvonne Mullins; daughters, Cadedra Leach of Smithfield, Lakevia Duparl of Petersburg, VA, and Lakesha McCollum of Whiteville; sons, Aaron Mullins of Leland and Naven Mullins of Chadbourn; mother, Annie Joyce Mullins of Jersey City, NJ; sisters, Lisa Berry and Joyce Mullins of Jersey City, NJ, and Vanessa Mullins of Whiteville; and brother, Gregory Mullins of Charleston, SC.
