CHADBOURN—Joyce Irene Townsend Pinckney, 71, of 294 Klondyke Road, Chadbourn, died Monday, July 22, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, July 26, at First Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 76 Campground Road, Whiteville, by Rev. Lester Frink. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Friday one hour prior to and following the service. Eastern Star rites will be 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home chapel.
Surviving are her son, Clarence T. Best of the home; and a sister, Ruby Peebles of Fayetteville.
