Mildred Manning Obituary

WHITEVILLE—Mildred Lee Cato Manning, 88, of 201 Sunset Avenue, Whiteville, died Sunday, April 29, at her residence.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 5, at Mill Branch Missionary Baptist Church, 645 Harrelsonville Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Thurman Chestnutt and Rev. Jerry Ganus, eulogist. Burial will be in the Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Friday from 12:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Saturday following the service.
Surviving are her daughter, Josephine Williams of the home; sons, Willie Cato and Everett Cato of Whiteville and Darryl Rouse of Murfreesboro, TN; stepdaughters, Brenda Wilde of Brooklyn, NY and Phyllis Troy of Ocean, NJ; stepsons, Samuel Rouse of Whiteville and Donald Rouse of Hackensack, NJ; sisters, Flossie Burt Hall, Eunice Jackson, and Gussie Jenkins of Whiteville, Virginia Ward of Chadbourn, Emma Walker of Bladenboro, and Annie Walker of Richmond, VA.
