CLARKTON—Minnie Jean Harrington Kelly, 84, of 28 George W. Kelly Road, Clarkton, died Thursday, August 30, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
Jean was formerly a secretary at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, September 5, at Piney Grove AME Zion Church, 540 Booker T. Washington School Road, Clarkton, by Rev. Larry Campbell. Burial will be in the Clarkton Community Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Kelly of Clarkton and Gail Kelly of Lawrenceville, GA; sister, Zelda McEachern of Clarkton; and one granddaughter.
