Ms. Iris Manuel Obituary

WHITEVILLE—Ms. Iris Best Manuel, 50, of Whiteville, died Friday, August 25, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System. The funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, at Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church by Rev. Thomas Nelson. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery. Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Wednesday from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Viewing will be at the church Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and again following the service. Surviving are a son, Jason Rogers of Seattle, WA; her parents, Evans and Annie Best of Whiteville; a sister, Barbie Best of Atlanta, GA; three brothers, Jimmy Best of Washington, DC, Brent Best and Willie Gene George of Whiteville. Friends may visit the family at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Evans Best, 2730 Chadbourn Highway, Whiteville.
