EVERGREEN—Nathaniel Lennon, 79, of 12721 Haynes Lennon Highway, Evergreen, died Thursday, October 11, at Liberty Commons.
He was the son of the late Walter Raleigh Lennon and Louise Lennon and a deacon at First Baptist Church.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 15, at First Baptist Church, 521 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Bladenboro, by Rev. Gregory Taylor. Burial will be in the Lennon Family Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Monday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are his wife, Mary W. Lennon; daughter, Carolyn Vanderhall of Waxhaw; son, Walter Lennon of Raleigh; and sisters, Marva Watlington of Greensboro and Merlean Stafford of Whiteville.
