Rosa Williams Obituary
LAURELTON-QUEENS, NY—Rosa Lee Peterson Williams, 77, formerly of Council, died Thursday, May 31, at her residence in New York.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, June 9, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Rev. P. Lorraine Jackson. Burial will be in the New Hope Community Cemetery in Council.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, at which time the family will receive friends. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas Williams; sons, Thomas Williams, Jr., James Randall Williams, and Darrell Williams of New York and Vernard Williams of Georgia; sisters, Grace Miller of New York and Vivian Peterson of Council; and brother, Louis S. Peterson of Council.
