WHITEVILLE—Sylvester Mack, 83, of 725 West Burkhead Street, Whiteville, died Sunday, May 26, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 31, at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, by Rev. James Williams, pastor of Saint Mark AME Zion Church. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and at the headquarters Friday one hour prior to the service. There will be no viewing after the service.
Surviving is his sister, Argustia M. Baldwin of Whiteville.
