WHITEVILLE--Thomas Jerome McKenzie, 64, of 59 Jethro George Lane, Whiteville, died Friday, April 27, at his residence.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Thursday, May 3, at Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 4604 Joe Brown Highway North, Whiteville, by Pastor Ronnie Clarida and Dr. Denise Clewis, eulogist. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Wednesday from 12:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Thursday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Diana Watson McKenzie; daughters, Amelia McMillan-Acton of Fayetteville, Bashira Curry and Tiara McKenzie of Jersey City, NJ, Teleha McKenzie of Atlanta, GA, and Terin McKenzie of Whiteville; mother, Maevern Best McKenzie of Whiteville; sisters, Rita McKenzie and Kimberly McKenzie of Whiteville and Saundra Gore of Brooklyn, NY; and brothers, Charles George, Anthony McKenzie, and Otto McKenzie, Jr. of Whiteville.
Friends may visit the family at 323 West College Street in Whiteville.
