Yvonne Geathers Obituary
WHITEVILLE—Yvonne Kelly Geathers, 81, of 4875 Old Lumberton Road, Whiteville, died Friday, June 29, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Leander Kelly and Ruby Hardee Kelly.
The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, July 6, at Sandhill Missionary Baptist Church, 16920 Twisted Hickory Road, Bladenboro, by Rev. Donald Thompson. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and at the church Friday following the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Ellen Burgess of Deltona, FL, Barbara Geathers and Lavern Ward of Whiteville, and Velicia Geathers of the home; sons, Jimmy Geathers of Myrtle Beach, SC and Carl Geathers of the home; sisters, Iwilla Ellis of Bladenboro, Ervee Bellamy of Whiteville, Lula Kelly of Paterson, NJ, Emma Kelly of Jersey City, NJ, and Katherine Kelly of High Point; and brothers, Joseph Kelly of Whiteville and Lee A. Kelly of Raeford.
