WHITEVILLE, NC—Alfonza McKoy, 71, of 158 Floyd Street, Whiteville, NC, died Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville, NC.
He was a U. S. Army veteran.
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 6, on the lawn of Shady Grove AME Zion Church, 1060 Microwave Tower Road, Council, NC, by Pastor Wendy McKoy. Burial, with military honors, will be in the New Hope Community Cemetery.
Viewing will be Friday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville.
Surviving are his wife, Carrie McKoy; daughter, Felicia Mack of Whiteville, NC; sons, Jeffery Robinson of Charleston, SC, Grover Hamilton of Shallotte, NC, and Anthony Hamilton of Loris, SC; sister, Belinda Thompson of Burlington, NJ; and brother, Orlando McKoy of Council, NC.
