BRONX, NY—Alford H. Smith, 68, formerly of the Iron Hill Community, Tabor City, NC, died Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at home in Bronx, NY
The funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 5, at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Elder Nathel Moody. Burial will be in the Smith Family Cemetery in Tabor City, NC.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. There will be no viewing.
Surviving are his children, Damien Smith of Dallas, TX, Sadia Smith of Central Islip, NY, Tony Gerald of Los Angeles, CA, and Kimberly Gerald of Fayetteville, NC; sister, Patricia Brown of Bronx, NY; brother, Gentry Smith of Queens, NY.
