ZEBULON, NC—Alfred Ronald Smith, 73, formerly of Bolton, NC, died Monday, February 5, 2024, at Capital Nursing & Rehab Center in Raleigh, NC.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, February 9, at The New Townsend Temple Ministries, 273 Smith Lane, Bolton, NC, by Pastor Ruth Freeman.  Burial will be in the Townsend Temple Memorial Gardens.

Viewing will be at the church Friday 30 minutes prior to and following the service.

Surviving are his wife, Pamela Barney Smith; children, Kenneth Smith of Knightdale, NC, Stephanie Smith of Clarkton, NC, Mark Smith of Zebulon, NC, Leslie Kelly of Raleigh, NC, and Brian Smith of Dublin, NC; sister, Patricia Best of Bolton, NC.
