Alice Spaulding Obituary
CLARKTON—Alice Novella Shaw Spaulding, 97, of 504 Rehobeth Church Road, Clarkton, died Thursday, April 9, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
She was the wife of the late Daniel Lesley Spaulding and was preceded in death by a son, Malcolm Ray Spaulding.
A graveside service, for immediate family only, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 14, at Mitchell Field Cemetery, 240 Mitchell Field Road, Clarkton, by Pastor Harrison Branch of Rehobeth AME Zion Church, Clarkton. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.
Everyone is required to wear a facial mask.
Surviving are her son, Lesley McDaniel Spaulding (Gloria) of Greenville; daughter, Marion Spaulding of Charlotte; sister, Peggy Enolia Spaulding of Stone Mountain, GA; brother, Edward Shaw of Clarkton; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; caregivers, Joann Washington and Patricia Rouse of Clarkton.
