HALLSBORO—Alphonso McKenzie Freeman, 83, of Hallsboro, died Sunday, August 9, 2020, at Premier Living in Lake Waccamaw, NC.
A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Friday, August 14, at Hallsboro Memorial Park, 1361 Hallsboro Road South, Hallsboro, NC, by Rev. Donald Mapson, pastor of Mount Hebron AME Zion Church.
Walk-thru viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Surviving are his sisters, Elsie Alston (Willie) of Hallsboro, NC and Judy Alston (Joe) of Wake Forest, NC; brothers, Henry Wells Freeman (Ellease) of Fayetteville, NC and Donald Freeman of Hallsboro, NC
