NORFOLK, VA—Annette Sinkler Beard, 76, formerly of Hallsboro, NC, died Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 9, at Mount Hebron AME Zion Church, 570 Red Bug Road, Hallsboro, NC. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by her husband, Wearley Ray Beard; daughter, Bridgette Beard of Norfolk, VA; sisters, Edith Sinkler and Wanda Devoe of Jersey City, NJ, and Shirley McMillian of Chadbourn, NC.
