WHITEVILLE—Annie Lou Wilson Best, 92, of Whiteville, died Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.
The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Sunday, March 8, at Spring Hill Baptist Church, 2871 Chadbourn Highway, Whiteville, NC. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Sunday 30 minutes prior to the service.
Surviving are her son, Jimmy Best of National Harbor, MD; daughter, Barbie Best off Griffin, GA; sisters, Loretta McMillian of Whiteville and Peggy Williams of New York.
