Obituary
ELIZABETHTOWN, NC—Dr. Antonia Latonya Beatty, 50, of 604 Glenwood Drive, Elizabethtown, NC, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at her home.
She was employed by Bladen County Schools as Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources and was a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
The funeral will be 12:00 PM Sunday, May 15, at Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Apostle Patrick McNair.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 10:00 AM until time for the service. There is no public viewing.
Surviving are her parents, Henry and Gloria Beatty of Council, NC; sisters, Tywanda Beatty of Council, NC and Hendricka Williams of Kelly, NC; brothers, Lazerick Beatty of Charlotte, NC and Ervin Shipman of Dublin, NC.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Fayetteville State University, School of Education, 1200 Murchison Road, Fayetteville, NC 28301.
Friends may visit the family at the home of Henry and Gloria Beatty, 34 Sleepy Drive, Council, NC.
