LOGANVILLE, GA—Ardel Mae Hardy King, 88, formerly of Chadbourn, NC, died Monday, March 31, 2025, at home in Loganville, GA.

The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, April 12, at Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC, by Rev. Tommy Brown, Jr.  Burial will be in the Belvue Cemetery.

Viewing will be 30 minutes prior to the service.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Saint John Baptist Church.

Surviving are her daughter, Mariam Hardy-King of Charlotte, NC, son, Tony King of Hopewell, VA; sisters, Rosel Roberson of Philadelphia, PA, Bettie Hardie of Jersey City, NJ, and Bettie Powell of Spring Valley, NY; brothers, Billy Hardie of Gaithersburg, MD and Bobby Hardie of Whiteville.

Friends may visit the family at 933 Tommie Wooten Road, Chadbourn, NC.
