CLARKSVILLE, TN—Barbara Jean Carolyn Pridgen Brown, 82, formerly of the Mount Olive Community, Whiteville, died Monday, September 8, 2025, at NHC Healthcare in Springfield, TN.

The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 20, at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 5548 Silver Spoon Road, Whiteville, NC.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service.

Surviving are her husband, Clifton Brown; son, Clifton Brown, Jr. of Clarksville, TN; daughter, Veronica Brown-Anang of Raleigh, NC.
