TABOR CITY, NC—Bernice Anne Washington Alderman, 93, of Tabor City, NC, died Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at home.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Monday, June 1, at Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC, by Bishop Bruce Alderman. Burial will be in the Smith Family Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the Brunswick-Waccamaw Monday following the service.
Surviving are her daughters, Elwanda Alderman of Tabor City, NC and Clara Alderman of Dallas, TX; sons, Bruce Alderman of Tabor City, NC and Keith Alderman of Raleigh, NC.
