BOLTON, NC—Betty Ann Bowden Freeman, 75, of 18635 Andrew Jackson Highway East, Bolton, NC, died Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 19, at The New Townsend Temple Ministries, 273 Smith Lane, Bolton, NC, by Apostle Tanty Freeman.  Burial will be in Restwell Cemetery #1.

Viewing will be Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Community Prayer House, 17362 Sam Potts Highway, Bolton, NC, and at New Townsend Temple Monday one hour prior to the service.

Surviving are her husband, Tanty Augusta Freeman; daughters, Cheryl Janeen Walker and Kesha Graham of Wilmington, NC; sons, Chandar Freeman of Leland, NC and Tanty Freeman, II of Bolton, NC; and several siblings.
