FAYETTEVILLE, NC—Billy Gene Swinton, 73, formerly of Chadbourn, NC, died Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the Durham VA Medical Center.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
A Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, at Mount Moriah Memorial Gardens, 5333 Andrew Jackson Highway SW, Chadbourn, NC.
There will be no public viewing.
Surviving are his sons, Billy Swinton, II of Charlotte, NC and Daru Swinton of New York; mother, Ernestine W. Swinton of Cerro Gordo, NC; sister, Vandelia Todd of Cerro Gordo, NC; brother, Michael Swinton of Pennsylvania.
