TABOR CITY—Carolyn Yvonne Johnson Chestnut, 74, of 206 West Fourth Street, Tabor City, died Thursday, May 14, at her residence.
The funeral, for immediate family only per notification, will be 12:00 PM Monday, May 18, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville by Bishop Dennis Chestnut, Ph.D. Burial will be in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery.
Walk-through viewing will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.
Surviving are her husband, Wilbur Chestnut; daughter, Carol Chestnut of Durham; sister, Gloria Bradshaw of Conway, SC; two grandchildren, mother-in-law, Mildred Chestnut of Tabor City.
Facial masks are required for viewing and funeral service.
