WHITEVILLE, NC—Channing Ziashaun Jones, 17, of 3314 Pleasant Plains Road, Whiteville, NC, died Monday, October 18, 2021, at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.
A Graveside Service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, October 24, at Cherry Grove Cemetery, 660 Vinson Boulevard, Whiteville, NC, by Dr. Denise Clewis.
Walk-thru viewing will be Saturday from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville.
Surviving are his mother, Lamisha Moore of Whiteville, NC; father, Marcus Jones of Whiteville, NC; brothers, Lafayette Davis and Cazia Jones of Whiteville, NC; maternal grandmother, Betty Moore of Whiteville, NC; maternal grandfather, James Smith of Jersey City, NJ; paternal grandfather, Joseph Edwards of Fayetteville, NC.
