CHADBOURN, NC—Charles Erick Swinson, 84, of 2506 Braswell Road, Chadbourn, NC, died Monday, January 2, 2023, at the NC Veterans Home in Fayetteville, NC.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 6, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 210 Old Stake Road, Chadbourn, NC, by Pastor Jerry Ganus. Burial, with military honors, will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday, January 10, at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake, NC.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Friday one hour prior to and following the service.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa S. Bellamy of the home; sons, Christopher Dale Swinson of Queens, NY, Carl J. Swinson of Whiteville, and Charles R. Swinson of Bronx, NY.
