JAMAICA, NY—Charlotte Troy, 81, formerly of the Welches Creek Community, Whiteville, NC, died Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Waterview Nursing Care Center in New York City.

The funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, January 4, at Love Grove Free Will Baptist Church, 1763 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, NC.  Burial will be in the Welches Creek Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be at the church Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Surviving are her sons, Ernest Troy of Whiteville, Ronnie L. Troy of Greensboro, NC, and Larry L. Troy of Lillington, NC; daughters, Sadie L. Troy of Greensboro, NC and Mary Duberry of Connecticut; sister, Carlene Jones of Raleigh; brothers, Michael Troy of Whiteville and James Troy of Las Vegas.

Friends may visit the family at 2623 Tom Sessions Road, Whiteville, NC.
