WHITEVILLE—Rev. Cornell Woodrow Singletary, 70, of Whiteville, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Whiteville as the result of an automobile accident.

The funeral will be 12:00 PM Tuesday, July 30, at Brunswick-Waccamaw Baptist Headquarters, 600 Pinelog Road, Whiteville, NC, by Dr. Timothy a. Lance.  Burial will be in the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery #2.

Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and  Tuesday following the service.

Surviving are his daughter, Naja Wah of Wilmington, NC; son, Cornell W. Singletary, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; sister, Barbara Yates-Lockamy of Whiteville; brothers, Danny Singletary and Rodney Singletary of Whiteville, and Reginald Singletary of Burlington, NC.
